Beloved Pet Funeral Care is Renfrewshire's First Private Pet Crematorium, established in 2021 to give your precious furry family members the love and respect they deserve.
We use our professional experience working in human funeral services to give your family pet the same level of dignity and compassion as you would expect for your human family member.
As a family, we have had pets in our lives for over 60 years. We know how much happiness, companionship and eternal love they bring in to our homes. This is why we care so passionately that pets that have entered eternal rest should not be treated as ‘just an animal’.
That’s why we guarantee EVERY beloved pet we are entrusted to care for;
Is INDIVIDUALLY collected from your home, veterinary practice or vet hospital ensuring they are not collected on a weekly van run with many other pets or clinical waste
Rests INDIVIDUALLY in a bed with a cosy blanket - not in a freezer, plastic bag or box
Receives an INDIVIDUAL private cremation with respect, compassion and love, usually within 1-3 days, ensuring the ashes you receive are all and only those of your pet
Our prices are transparent and include free ink paw prints and locks of of your loved one's fur if desired.
We are approved by the UK Government’s Animal & Plant Health Agency (APHA) and are inspected every year to ensure we meet their strict criteria.
Beloved’s Service & Farewell Keepsakes
Our Cremation Service
At our small, private crematorium, we specialise exclusively in individual cremations. This guarantees that the ashes returned to you belong solely to your beloved companion. With our priority service, we can collect your pet directly from your home or vet.
Urns & Caskets
Choosing a final resting place is a personal decision, and our collection of pet urns and caskets offers a range of dignified options to suit your home.
Ashes Into Glass
Create a lasting tribute with Ashes into Glass, featuring handcrafted jewellery and paperweights that fuse your pet's ashes with molten crystal. Each piece is set in a seamless, hallmarked mount of sterling silver or gold and finished with a personal diamond-point engraving.
Scatter Tubes
We are proud to stock the original Tributes Scatter Tubes. Crafted from over 90% recycled materials, these timeless tubes are fully-biodegradable and recyclable. Whether you choose a final scattering or a woodland burial, they offer a gentle and eco-friendly way to honour your beloved pet.
Memory Bears
Keep your best friend’s memory alive with our Memory Bear keepsake.
Designed with a hidden zipped compartment for pet ashes or special mementos, this soft bear provides a tactile way to remember your companion.
Rainbow Paws Pet Euthanasia
If it’s time to say goodbye, Rainbow Paws Pet Euthanasia will provide a caring and professional at-home pet euthanasia service in Renfrewshire and surrounding areas. Qualified Veterinary Surgeon, Lindsay, has over 20 years’ experience in local veterinary practices and is now dedicated to giving your beloved pet a peaceful farewell at home.
What sets us apart
As a mark of respect for your beloved pet we ensure the following standards are adhered to:
We do NOT carry out weekly or communal collections
We do NOT collect more than one pet at a time
We do NOT carry out communal/routine cremations
We do NOT collect waste (some crematoriums collect this with pets)
We do NOT wear casual clothes (we wear a black uniform)
EVERY pet in our care rests peacefully in a bed with a cosy blanket (not stored in a plastic bag, plastic box or freezer)
Our Story
After our much loved family dog, Florrie, passed away in 2018, we wanted her final journey to the crematorium to be surrounded by love and dignity.
She was our best friend for 12 years and deserved the very best.
It was then that we learnt many pets who pass away at the veterinary practice wait for a weekly collection to go to a crematorium, even those pets who are to be individually cremated.
So we made it our mission to open Beloved Pet Funeral Care, in memory of Florrie and to ensure all pets in our local area have the option not to wait for a weekly collection service.
As pet owners, we know only too well that losing a much-loved pet can leave behind a wide emotional wound. However, we hope that knowing your pet is treated with the utmost care and having your precious pet's ashes home as soon as possible can start to ease the immense grief.
